Join Kiandra and learn the basics of crochet.
Kiandra is an experienced and creative crocheter, and we’re excited to bring her to the shop for this hands-on class. Whether you’ve never held a hook before or just need a refresher, this session will cover:
Choosing yarn and hook sizes
Holding the hook and yarn comfortably
Chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet
Reading simple patterns and stitch abbreviations
Small practice project to take home

Location: Okemos Coffee Shop — Community Table
Cost: $8 advance, or $12 at the door.

Just yourself — all materials are provided. If you have a favorite hook or yarn, feel free to bring it.
