I Angela Risk. I am taking A. Risk…… the biggest Risk of my life- I am opening a coffee shop.
I aim to create a place that is warm and inviting. A space for all people to freely be themselves, drink a little caffeine, absorb encouragement and feel creative vibes. In preparation for me personally this has meant doing alot of soul searching and healing. A big step was simply getting my picture taken.
So I’ll start there. I have like zero photos of just me. Even my wedding photographer forgot to get singles of just me. I know- I know, sad face. But it’s time to change that.
I found a wonderful photographer and booked myself a session. She would make sure all of the pictures were amazing. These pictures represent not only ME,- but my brand, my coffee shop- my heart——this was a big deal. I was nervous to be in front of the camera. But Laicee made me feel soo comfortable I knew if I just let go into the moment and trusted the space, she would take care of me. It was either that or I send myself down a spiral of depression and anxiety again——and that just sounded awful.
So I took a breathe and let go.
F*ck around and found out. (I found out that she’s an amazing photographer and I can show up in photos as I feel in my heart). I f’ed around found out that good outcomes happen too.
Annnnnnnd……she killed it. Seriously amazing.
That’s me. That’s the Angela I am pretty much every day. So cheers to photo sessions, caffeine & courage. I am SO very excited to be on this journey and share it with you. Let’s be awesome together. And for peets sake- good book yourself a photo shoot with the amazing Laicee Thill.
